Gas prices rose 2.5 cents last week; $3 eyed by Memorial Day

Average retail gasoline prices in Missouri have risen 2.5 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.60 a gallon today. This compares with the national average that has increased 3.6 cents per gallon in the last week to $2.78 a gallon, according to gasoline price Web site
