The Trojanettes 15 and under team competed at the National Sports Clinic Recruiting tournament in Olathe, Kan., on the weekend of June 19-21. Twenty-eight teams competed in the 16 and under division.

Pool play in the tournament consisted of three games putting the girls in different situations so college coaches could see how they would react to the situation.

After pool play concluded, a single elimination tournament was held. The Trojanettes first game was against the Missles from Kansas City. Behind Kendle Schieber's no-hit pitching the Trojanettes won 10-0. Torri Blythe and Cheyanne Stoll led the offense with two hits each. Schieber added a bases-loaded triple and Kylee Wiederholt smacked a double. Adding singles were Ashley Smith, Emilee Buckler, and Holly Wilmarth.

The next game was a 1-0 win over the Topeka Rage. Cheyanne Stoll followed Schieber's no hitter with a no hitter of her own. Blythe continued her hitting spree with two singles. Baylee Scarbrough added a single. The lone run was scored on a single by Blythe. Blythe then stole second and went to third on the overthrow. She then scored on Allie Meyer's infield grounder.

The third game then produced another shutout for the Trojanettes of 2-0 over the St Louis Slam. Schieber threw this one and allowed only two hits. Meyer was the big hitter driving in both runs with a single. Blythe collected the only other hit.

The semi finals saw the Trojanettes playing an old rival, the Columbia Rockers. In a game that went back and forth the Rockers scored a run in the top of the 7th to take a 6-5 lead. The Trojanettes threatened in the bottom of the inning with Stoll's two out double but could not score against the  Rockets who won their next game, also, to win the tournament. Blythe led the hitting with three singles. Buckler added a double and single. Schieber and Wilmarth added singles.
