The Trojanette 18 and Under team won first place in the Father’s Day Tournament at Adair Park in Kansas City, Mo.

In Game 1, the score was 14 - 0. Amanda Snodgrass from King City, Mo., went 2-3 with a double.  Chelsea Shelby from Bethany, Mo. went 2-3 with a double. Rachel Schmitz from Conception Junction, Mo. went 2-2 and a walk.  Shelby Stolls from King City, Mo. pitched a five-hit shutout.

In Game 2, the score was 10-0. Snodgrass went 2-3 with a triple.   LeeAnn Russell from Bedford, Iowa, went 3-3. Kyla Emig from Eagleville, Mo. went 2-3 with a double. Schmitz hit a triple and pitched a no-hitter. In Game 3, the score was 4-2. Emig went 2-3. Jill Crouse from Easton, Mo. hit a triple. Schmitz pitched a four-hitter, giving up one earned run. The score for Game 4 was 5-0. Jordan Bastain from King City, Mo. went 2-3. Schmitz went 2-2 and a walk. Tiffany Bliley from Conception Junction, Mo. went 2-2. Shelby Stoll pitched a one-hit shutout.

The score of the championship game was 12-0. Schmitz went 2 -3 with a walk. Snodgrass went 2-3. Jill Crouse hit a triple. Schmitz pitched a four-hit shutout. The Trojanette team scored 45 runs and only allowed 2 for the tournament.
