The Northwest Missouri State football team hosted the annual Shawna Zech Memorial Classic golf tournament Friday at Mozingo Lake Golf Course. Hundreds of people including alumni, fans and former players showed up to compete in the annual team fundraiser. An afternoon thunderstorm delayed the start of the afternoon session about a little over an hour, but it wasn’t enough to deter the participants who came out in full force once the rain subsided.
