All it took was four to get fourth.
With just four athletes present at the Class 3 -4 State Championship Meet and only three that scored, the Hound boys obtained a team trophy with a fourth place finish Saturday.
It's the boys team's first time winning a trophy at state since finishing fourth in 2000.
The Hounds scored 37 points, edging Sikeston by 4.5 for the final trophy spot. Grandview, John Burroughs and Cardinal Ritter were the top three teams.
