After reading the Nodaway News Leader publisher’s editorial on August 28, I am sure I am not the only one who was scrambling to find my Nodaway News Leader from the week before. I reread Presiding Commissioner Baumli’s editorial and I have to admit that I was puzzled by your response.

What a profound thought! So many times, when people are asked what they would wish for our world, we often hear things like “world peace” and “solve world hunger.” However, Mother Teresa was wise enough to recognize our incredible need as humans to love and be loved. I am so proud Big Brothers Big Sisters of Nodaway County volunteers and donors also recognize this innate need.
