Clinton James Wilmes, 18, of Maitland, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2009.
He was born Feb. 18, 1991 in Fairfax, Mo. Clint was a member of the Class of 2010 at Nodaway-Holt R-VII High School in Graham, Mo.
Clint enjoyed hunting, riding four-wheelers, and spending time with his many cousins, friends and family.
Survivors of the home include his mother and stepfather, Jennifer and Keith Miller, and sister, Kailey. Additional survivors include grandparents: Tom and Sharon Wilmes of Maryville, Mo., Lloyd Ridler of Jefferson City, Mo., Kenny and Mary Miller of Craig, and Rich and Steph McCann of Big Lake, Mo.; great-grandparents: Pauline Dragoo of Skidmore, Mo., Jack and Eva Mae Miller of Craig, Mo., and Minnie Zachary of Mound City, Mo.; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Clint was preceded in death by his great-grandparents: Homer and Thelma Ridler, George and Gertrude Wilmes, and Max Zachary.
The family received friends Friday evening, June 5 from 6:30 to 8:30 at the Chamberlain Funeral Home, Mound City. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 6, at the Nodaway-Holt High School Gymnasium, with burial at New Liberty Cemetery, Mound City.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Nodaway Valley Bank for the Clint Wilmes Scholarship fund.
