Daisy Marie Lynch, 90, of Maryville, Mo. and formerly of Lamar, Mo., passed from this life on Monday, June 8, 2009 at the Golden Living Center, Maryville.

Born on June 17, 1918 in Lamar, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Webster and Rachael (Allen) Brandon.  She was preceded in death by her husband, James Wilson Lynch on Dec. 23, 1980.

She was a member of the St. Gregory's Catholic Church, Maryville, where she was a member of the St. Gregory's Church Guild and retired from the custodial department at Northwest Missouri State University.

She is survived by her loving children: Arlene (Lynch) O'Riley, wife of the late Donald  O'Riley, Maryville, Donald M. Lynch and wife Lila (Faris), Pickering, Virginia A. (Lynch) Keever, Maryville, Judy A. (Lynch) Gabbert wife of the late John W. Gabbert, Maryville; a brother, Raymond Brandon, Corning, Iowa; 10 grandchildren and 14  great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers and five sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 15, 2009 at the St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church, Maryville.  Final resting place will be in the Quitman Cemetery, Quitman, Mo.

The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday evening from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. with a Prayer Service starting at 7:30 p.m.

 A Legion of Mary Rosary will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at the Danfelt Funeral Home, 951 S. Main Street, Maryville, MO 64468.

The family has requested the omission of flowers and ask that memorial donations be made to the Quitman Cemetery, P.O. Box 225, Maryville, MO 64468  or to the charity of one's choice.
