Nancy Sue Hilsabeck, 75, Maryville, Mo. passed away, Monday, June 1, 2009 at Parkdale Manor Care Center, Maryville.
She was born July 4, 1933 in Burlington Junction, Mo., the daughter of Presley and Helen (Murphy) Clark. A 1951 graduate of Burlington Junction High School, she married Alan Dale Hilsabeck on Jan. 17, 1953 in Maryville.
Sue was the owner of Fields Clothing Store, where she had worked 44 years and a member of the First Christian Church in Maryville.
Sue was preceded in death by her son, Roger Hilsabeck (Feb. 27, 2003), her parents and brothers-in-law: Ivelle and Courtney Hilsabeck.
Survivors include her husband: Alan, of their home in Maryville; son: Bryan (Janet) Hilsabeck, Barnard, Mo.; daughter-in-law: Vicky Hilsabeck, Maryville; six grandchildren: Jarod, Makayla, Mitchell, and Ty Hilsabeck, Desarae Bliley and Malinda Hicks and brother: C. D. Clark, Burlington Junction.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m .Thursday, June 4, 2009 at Price Funeral Home, Maryville.
Funeral service are 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 5, 2009 at Price Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in the American Legion Cemetery, Barnard.
Memorials may be made to the Nodaway County Chapter of the American Cancer Society in Sue's name.
