The annual Family Fun Fest, a carnival and fundraiser hosted by the St. Gregory School Parent-Teacher Organization, will return to the St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church grounds from noon-4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 19.
As always, there will be lots of games and activities, including inflatable rides.
"This is an important event for St. Gregory’s and the PTO,” said Principal Susan Martin, "It’s not just a fundraiser to me. It's a chance near the beginning of the school year for all of our school families and church families to get together and have a good time.
"Our students just love Family Fun Fest because there are so many things that are geared toward them, but this is really an event for the entire family."
St. Gregory's PTO President Abby Auffert said parents and others have been working hard to get ready of the event, which includes a number of opportunities for parish members to make donations to the school.
"We look at the church and the school as a family,” Auffert said. "We have people that donate items for the silent auction, baked goods for our cake walk and prizes for the games. Our volunteers work hard so that everyone can have a good time. This is an opportunity for everyone to get involved in our PTO."
