Registration for 2010-2011 preschool at Eugene Field Elementary School in Maryville will take place Tuesday, April 6, through Thursday, April 8.
Registration hours are: 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday, 6:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday, and 6:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday. Program placement will be determined by lottery, so parents signing up during the registration events will have an equal chance at their choice of times.
Options for preschool include a full-day, five-days-a-week program that lasts from 7:55 a.m. until 2:40 p.m. and a half-day program from 7:55 -10:55 a.m. or 11:40 a.m.-2:40 p.m. Children can participate in the half-day program for five, three or two days a week. Monthly cost for the five-day, full-day program is $289.80. Cost for five half-days is $129.15.
To enroll, children must be at least 3 years old before August 1, 2010, and completely potty trained. The program is open to children living in Maryville and the surrounding area.
Parents should bring their child's immunization records, birth certificate and social security number. Registration fee is $20, which will be applied to first tuition payment due in August.
A before- and after-school program is available for a fee of $2 an hour and operates from 6:30-7:40 a.m. and 2:40-5 p.m.
The Eugene Field preschool provides age-appropriate educational activities for children 3-5 years old, is licensed by the Missouri Department of Health and is accredited by the Missouri Preschool Accreditation Organization. Teachers emphasize kindergarten readiness skills and focus on the individual strengths of each child.
