A three-vehicle wreck blocked both lanes of traffic on US Highway 136 Tuesday afternoon. Three people were taken to the hospital.

An afternoon wreck moderately injured three area residents and blocked east and westbound traffic on US highway 136 just after 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Bryce Farnan, 17, Parnell, was in the eastbound lane slowing for oncoming traffic prior to turning north onto Neon Road 10 miles east of Maryville when the Ford Taurus he was driving was struck from behind by a Ford Escort. The Escort, driven by Kirk Johnson, 48, Albany, then crossed the center lane and collided head on with a Honda, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report...
