An Oregon, Mo., police officer suffered serious injuries in an automobile crash while en route to a fatal accident Sunday evening.

Northwest Missouri State University student Britnee Baldridge, found dead Monday, was reported to have died of natural causes according to the preliminary autoposy, said Northwest authorities. She was found dead in her West Tower Suites residence hall about 2 p.m. The University Police Department was notified and officers responded immediately to the scene. Baldridge was a third year student majoring in Family and Consumer Science.

University Police officers were called and responded immediately.
Baldridge’s family has been notified of the death.
Authorities have yet to determine a cause of death. Baldridge’s death is being investigated by the Nodaway County Coroner, Northwest Missouri State University Police, Missouri State Highway Patrol and Maryville Public Safety.
An autospy is schedule Tuesday morning at the Jackson County Medical Office, said Clarence Green, Director of the Northwest Missouri State University Police Department.
The room where Baldridge was found has been closed off for the investigation, Green said.
Baldridge did have roommates at the West Tower Suites residence hall.
