Spoofy the Spoofhound, the popular mascot of Maryville High School, originated in the 1920s, and different versions of Spoofy created over the decades are included in a mural in the MHS commons area. The Maryville R-II School District Education Foundation is hoping that fond memories of Spoofy will encourage MHS alumni to submit information to be included in a new database. Once launched, the database will be used for fundraising and as a means of keeping MHS graduates connected to their Spooofhound past.
