A trio of stand-up comedians will take center stage at Northwest Missouri State University during Homecoming week as the Student Activities Council hosts "Comedy Central on Campus."
The show, featuring Adam Ray, Todd Barry and Thomas Dale begins at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, in the Ron Houston Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets are free for students and $5 for the public and can be purchased on the first floor of the Administration Building.
Entertainers on the bill include:
∙ Adam Ray, who was recently seen in the Paul Feig summer comedy "The Heat" opposite Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy.
Ray also has guest starred on television's "Two Broke Girls," "Workaholics," "Arrested Development," and "According to Jim."
∙ Todd Barry, a New York City-based comedian and actor recognized for his role as the bongo-playing third Conchord on HBO's "Flight of the Conchords" and Mickey Rourke's deli boss in 2009 Oscar winner "The Wrestler."
Barry has had multiple stand-up appearances on "The Late Show with David Letterman," "Late Night with Conan O'Brien," "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and "Comedy Central Presents."
∙ Thomas Dale made his late-night debut on "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" and has since become a regular performer on "Chelsea Lately."
He also has appeared on MTV's "New Year's Eve Bash" and in 2007 he was named best comedian after performances at "The New York Comedy Festival" and "The Bamboozle Music Festival."
