Each year, Northwest recognizes a family seen as best representing Bearcat traditions and a strong commitment to the university. The 2013 Family of the Year will be selected from applications submitted by students and recognized during pre-game and halftime ceremonies at Bearcat Stadium.
The deadline to submit an application is 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18. One application is allowed per student. The family must be present to accept the award.
Kickoff for the Bearcats football game against Nebraska-Kearney is set for 1 p.m. at Bearcat Stadium. The Bearcat Zone will open at 11 a.m. at the Raymond J. Courter College Park Pavilion.
