Nodaway County Prosecuting Attorney Robert Rice will conduct a series of "listening posts" later this month in an attempt to gather citizen concerns with regard to bad check enforcement and other issues.
Rice will be on hand to answer questions from the public at the following times and locations:
∙ Tuesday, Aug. 13: 8 a.m., Elmo, next to the American Legion hall; 10 a.m., Clearmont, next to the post office; noon, Burlington Junction, downtown; 2 p.m., Pickering, next to the community building; 4 p.m., Hopkins, next to the community building.
∙ Wednesday, Aug. 14: 8 a.m., Parnell, next to American Legion hall; 10 a.m., Ravenwood, next to the community building; noon, Conception and Conception Junction, next to the American Legion hall; 2 p.m., Barnard, next to community merchants at Fourth and Depot streets; 4 p.m., Graham, next to the Lions Club building.
∙ Thursday, Aug. 15: 10 a.m. Skidmore, next to the community building at Elm and Smith streets; 1 p.m., Maryville, prosecutor's office in the courthouse.
