Re-enacting what took place just four days prior, the top-seeded Lady Hound soccer team wiped out Chillicothe with a second straight 10-0 win in the semifinals of the Class 1 District 16 Tournament Monday in Cameron.

Maryville (15-3) advanced to Wednesday's district final to face second-seeded St. Pius X. The Warriors (13-5-1) knocked Maryville out of the post-season last year with a 2-1 win in sectionals.

The second-seeded Hounds ended a four-year district losing streak and a current five-game losing streak with a 12-2 six-inning bashing of third-seeded Lathrop Monday in the semifinals at Phil Welch Stadium in St. Joseph.
Maryville scored in every inning but the third and put up a game-high five runs in the fourth.
The Hounds finished with 10 hits. Seniors Ridge Yount,Tyler Tripp and Shane Owens had two apiece.
Jarret Cronin pitched 4 1/3 innings to get the win, allowing only one earned run.
The win moves the Hounds (4-10) into Wednesday's 5 p.m. final to face top-seeded Bishop LeBlond. The Golden Eagles beat University Academy 10-3 in their semifinal game.
Maryville lost both meetings to LeBlond during the regular season. The most recent was an 8-4 loss in St. Joseph May 7.
