The Northwest Missouri State football team will conclude its spring practice schedule Saturday with the annual Green and White Spring Game set for 5 p.m. at Bearcat Stadium.
Saturday's spring game will conclude a day packed with activities including a baseball double-header against Lincoln, a softball twin bill vs. Washburn, the alumni soccer match and the unveiling of a new family of logos in Bearcat Arena. All events on campus are free and open to the public.
The Green and White Game will feature 12 minute quarters with a running clock and a five minute halftime.
In addition to the game itself, lots for tailgating prior to the game will open at 2 p.m. along with an authentic replica Adidas jersey fundraiser outside the west gate of Bearcat Stadium.
"We are really excited to provide parents and the community the opportunity to purchases a high-quality replica jersey," said defensive coordinator Rich Wright. "The jerseys will be a tackle-twill adidas® replica that will allow family and friends to support their favorite Bearcat players."
Jersey sales will support the Bearcat football team and will be available from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. on the west side of Bearcat Stadium. The cost of jerseys is $95 and can be paid via cash or check only.
Adult sizing options through 5x will be available as all orders placed on Saturday will have an estimated ship date of eight weeks.
Fans who are not able to order their jersey Saturday can contact coach Wright at 660.562.1696 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. The deadline for ordering is April 30.
Also all fans wishing to tailgate prior to the game please be advised that the alcohol policy that was recently passed does not go into effect until July. The alcohol policy for Saturday will remain the same in the tailgating areas and in suites as in the past. More information on the policy change will be available later this summer.
