Northwest schedules doubleheader with Northern State

The Northwest Missouri State softball team had announced early today the cancellation of the Missouri Western Invitational but were able to schedule a double-header with Northern State.

The Wolves were originally scheduled to take on the Bearcats in St. Joseph Friday at 4:30 p.m. for the second game of a double-header.

With the Invitational canceled, the two teams have decided to play a double-header at Bearcat Field Friday starting at 1 p.m.

Northern State is currently 8-6 on the season.
