  • The Northwest Missouri State baseball team will have an extra day off as field conditions continue to dry, forcing the Bearcats and Fort Hays State to move their double-header to Wednesday.
First pitch Wednesday is set for 2 p.m. at Larks Park in Hays, Kan.
Northwest has managed to play a majority of its games this season despite the weather conditions that has hit the Midwest.
The Bearcats lost their first series of the year last weekend as rain and remaining snow canceled a three-game series with Central Missouri at Bearcat Field.
After a double-header sweep last week at Washburn, the Bearcats currently sit at 4-12 overall and 4-9 in the MIAA standings.
