Maryville High School and the Northwest Technical School will host their annual new-freshman showcase from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, March 11.
The event is an open house for incoming freshmen and their families. Future students will be able to tour classrooms and meet teachers before the current school year ends.
Student ambassadors will be on hand to give tours. There will also be performances by the Spectrum show choir and the MHS marching band.
Principal Jason Eggers said all eighth graders from Maryville Middle School and St. Gregory's School are invited to attend as are students who plan on going to NTS next fall.
"This gives the students a chance to come in and see what's going on at the school," Eggers said. "Most of them have been here for athletic events, but they've never had the chance to check out our classrooms or meet their teachers. This is an opportunity to get in and mingle."
