  • The Northwest Missouri State baseball team has pushed its double-header at Washburn to a Thursday afternoon start at Falley Field in Topeka.
The Bearcats and Ichabods were originally slated for a Wednesday double-header; however, the series has been pushed back one day to allow the field to dry from last week's snow fall.
First pitch is still set for at 1:30 p.m. Thursday as the Bearcats will play their second double-header at Falley Field this season. Northwest hosted Nebraska-Kearney Feb. 19 when temperatures in Maryville forced the neutral site move.
The Bearcats are 2-11 overall and 2-8 in the MIAA while Washburn sits at 2-3 overall and 2-3 in league play.
Northwest last played March 3 against Central Oklahoma, losing three times to the Bronchos while Washburn lost a double-header at Fort Hays State in their last action Feb. 19.
