Alphonse J. Schwebach, 90, Stanberry, Missouri died Monday, February 11, 2013 at Pineview Manor, Stanberry, Missouri.
He was born August 2, 1922 to Matthew and Mary Barbara (Kern) Schwebach in Clyde, Missouri.
He married Mary Eulala Kohlleppel January 3, 1945.
Alphonse was a farmer for over 70 years and also worked at Pettlon Foundry for 10 years.
Mr. Schwebach was a member of St. Peterís Catholic Church in Stanberry.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Irene Lager, Mildred Huss and Lucille OíRiley; and brothers, Leo and Bill Schwebach.
Survivors: wife, Mary Eulala Schwebach; children, Judy Arnold (Johnny), Dorothy Clements (Don), Earl Schwebach (Kathy), Jerry Schwebach (Debbie), Lori Meyer, Sam Schwebach (Debbie) and Roger Schwebach (Denise); sisters, Gertrude Jensen, Teresa Jensen and Bea Luke (Hubert); and 29 grandchildren and 54 great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 A.M. Friday, St. Columba Catholic Church, Conception Junction, Missouri. Interment St. Peterís Cemetery, Stanberry, Missouri at a later date. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, St. Columba Catholic Church where there will be a Parish Rosary 5:00 P.M. Thursday. Care provided by Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
