Nodaway-Holt's girls blitzed West Nodaway with back-to-back 22-point quarters to break into the clear for a 67-43 win Friday in Burlington Junction.
The Lady Trojans (17-6) outscored West Nodaway 22-10 in both the second and third quarters, creating a 57-30 lead going to the fourth.
Nodaway-Holt's inside-out duo of Megan Rosenbohm and Krysta Beattie each had double-doubles and combined for 45 points.
Rosenbohm finished with a game-high 27 points and pulled in 10 rebounds. Beattie dominated inside, scoring 18 points and grabbing 19 rebounds.
Bailee Lance added eight points and Amanda O'Riley had six.
West Nodaway was led by Emily Cordell with 19 points. Deanna Harvey also reached double-figures with 11.
Jefferson 63 Stewartsville 26
Jefferson's girls combined outstanding offense with lockdown defense in the first and third quarters, paving the way for a 63-26 rout of Stewartsville Friday night.
The Eagles produced 21 points in both quarters and gave up a total of eight, including just two in the first.
Jefferson was up 22 points at the half and 37 at the end of third.
The Lady Eagles had 10 different players score in the game and two were in double-figures.
Senior guard Shanna Welch scored a team-high 14 points and Ashley Chor finished with 13. Chor hit three of the team's five three-pointers.
Jessie Henry totaled nine points. Brooklyn Stoll tallied six and Sarah Kemper had five.
Randi Schottel paced Stewartsville with 10 points.
South Nodaway 52 Union Star 33
The Longhorns asserted control in the opening quarter and stayed in command all the way through a 52-33 win over Union Star Friday night in Barnard.
South Nodaway formed a double-digit lead at the end of the first quarter, extended it to 15 at the half and 22 at the end of the third quarter.
The Longhorns scored at least 13 points in each of the first three quarters and gave up no more than 10 in any of the four.
Nine Longhorns contributed offensively, allowing for just one double-figure scorer.
That was Shea Miller with 12 points, all of which came on four made three's.
LeeAnn Walker also hit a three and scored nine points. Andrea Henggeler and Allison Hilsabeck each had seven points followed by Alexis Nielson with six.
Hannah Clliborn registered a game-high 15 points for Union Star.
Rock Port 44 North Nodaway 33
An even game through the first three quarters, Rock Port stepped it up in the fourth to pull away from North Nodaway for a 44-33 win Friday night in Rock Port.
The Blue Jays (16-6) outscored North Nodaway 16-5 in the final quarter, its best at both ends of the floor
North Nodaway (14-7) led by three at the end of the first. Rock Port forged a halftime tie that remained at the end of the third quarter.
Rock Port's Allison Lawrence led all scorers with 22 points and hit three of the team's four three-pointers. Leslie Kirkland pumped in 14 points.
Leslie Birkenholz topped North Nodaway with 14 points and made a pair of three's. Cambry Schluter was next with six points.
