  • Harry Ronald Thompson, 99, Hopkins, Missouri, died Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at St. Francis Hospital,  Maryville, Missouri.
    Harry  was born January 28, 1914, in Hopkins, Missouri to George  and Magdalene Elizabeth Thompson.
    Harry attended Gaynor School, was a farmer, a member of the Masonic Lodge, Pickering, Missouri  and was of the Christian faith.
    He married Alma Wiley Thompson  April 04, 1936, in Clarinda, Iowa.
    Harry was preceded in death by his wife Alma Lenora Wiley Thompson, (December 5, 2008), his parents, son Carl Richard Thompson (February 9, 1974), and sisters Marguerite Pittsenbarger, Esther Martin, Mildred Dieter, and Helen Godsey, a brother Roy Thompson, and a great grandson Logan Thornton.
    Survivors include son Lowell Dean Thompson, Hopkins, grandchildren Deanna (Greg) Lawrence, Joplin, Missouri, Daun (Sarah) Thompson, Omaha, Nebraska, David Thompson, Branson, Missouri, Darla Thompson, Houston, Missouri, Doug (Rhonda) Thompson, Lexington, Missouri, Bryan (Denise) Thompson, Dallas, Texas, Duane (Sara) Thompson, Austin, Texas, Steve (Deanna) Thompson, Newton, Iowa, Carlene Thompson, Bedford, Iowa, Christina (Murray) Thornton, Bedford, Shannon (Jeff) Schiebel, Newton, Iowa, 22 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
    A visitation will be held from 5-6:00 PM Friday, February 8, 2013 at the Price Funeral Home Chapel, Maryville, Missouri.
    Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the Price Chapel with the burial in Hopkins Cemetery, Hopkins, Missouri following the service.
