After a back-and-forth opening quarter, Nodaway-Holt held Craig-Fairfax scoreless in the second and sprinted away with a 59-23 win Friday night in Craig.
The Trojans outscored CFX 51-13 over the final three periods and 17-0 in the second quarter.
Nodaway-Holt utilized a balanced scoring effort that saw nine players contribute at least one point. Derek Lemon was the only Trojan in double-figures with 11.
He and Nick Patterson (six points) each hit two three's.
Brice Shamberger totaled nine points. Stephen Schniedermeyer, Devin Albertson and Jackson Beattie each had six.
No one for the Hornets had more than seven points.
DeKalb 53 South Nodaway 41
Over four quarters, DeKalb incrementally grew its lead against South Nodaway to claim a 53-41 win Friday night.
The Tigers (16-5) finished the opening quarter up two, went to the half up six and ended the third quarter with a comfortable 11-point lead that they were able to maintain over the final eight minutes.
DeKalb scored 13 points or more over the last three quarters, while South Nodaway's best quarter was 12 points.
Timmy LeRoy led DeKalb with 12 points. Austen Hall and Duncan Owens each had 10.
South Nodaway's Dakota Murphy led all scorers with 16 points and knocked in four of the team's six three-pointers. Dalton Murphy registered 10 points. Two other Longhorns had five.
Tarkio 45 West Nodaway 38
One quarter away from a conference road win, West Nodaway's offense ran out of gas.
The Rockets mustered only two points in the fourth quarter of a 45-38 loss to Tarkio Friday night. Tarkio outscored the Rockets 14-2 in the period to rally from a five-point deficit.
West Nodaway had scored at least 10 points in each of the first three quarters, including 13 in both the first and third. Tarkio scored 30 of its 45 points in second and fourth quarters, 18 more than West Nodaway during that same span.
The Rockets finished the opening quarter ahead 13-8. Tarkio surged in front by one at half before the Rockets re-asserted themselves in the third quarter.
Tarkio's Derek Rohlfson battered the Rockets inside for a game-high 26 points. He was the only Indian to surpass six.
Trevor Meyer was West Nodaway's top scorer with 10 points. Jonathon Madere and Blake Farnan each had nine. Four different Rockets hit one three.
