Letter to the Editor

Dear Editor,

It is with a heavy heart that I must inform all of our good customers that Movie Magic is closing. The bank is not renewing our loans, and so we are being forced to close our doors for the last time.

While I understand the bank's position, I just wished that they had given us more time to say our final good byes to all of our many friends and customers.

It's a very sad day for Kathy and I, we will miss everyone. It's also sad to think that all the things that Kathy did for our community will be gone. Things like donating space for garage sales for the Sheriff's K-9 unit, or the Downtown Trick or Treat which she organized and set up all by herself for the last 17 years. These are just a couple of things that Kathy has done for our community and they will be missed.

As we pick ourselves up and move on, we leave with some very fond memories. We don't know what God has in store for us, but we move forward in anticipation.
