Man injured in ejection accident

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Brandon L. Brown of Burlington Junction was driving when he lost control on Jet Road east of Maryville on Wednesday afternoon.

The report states that the vehicle went off of the west side of the roadway and overturned several times.

Brown, 25, was ejected from the vehicle. He was taken to St. Francis Hospital with serious injuries by the Nodaway County Ambulance service.

Brown was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.

The Highway Patrol was assisted by the Nodaway County Sheriff’s Department.
