Northwest Missouri State University's Office of University Advancement, which acts as the school's fundraising arm, has announced a change in roles for two of its staff members.
Polly Howard has assumed the duties of director of alumni and donor relations, and Steve Sutton has begun serving as a major gift development officer. Howard was a major gift development officer for the past seven years, and Sutton served as director, so the two have switched roles.
"We are so thankful for Polly's and Steve’s service and pleased to be able to tap into their competencies to help our ever-growing Bearcat network become even stronger," Northwest President John Jasinski said in a prepared statement.
Howard, earned an undergraduate degree from northwest in 2000 and a master's degree in 2009. She joined Northwest’s advancement team after working as a newscaster for KQTV in St. Joseph.
Sutton, a 1971 Northwest alumnus, is a former program evaluation coordinator at the Maryville Treatment Center.
