Relay for Life readies for 2013

Nodaway County organizers of the annual Relay For Life fundraiser for the American Cancer Society will host a kickoff party from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, at My Favorite Muffin, located in the Hy-Vee shopping complex in the 1100 block of South Main in Maryville.

The $10 registration fee will be waived for all teams and participants who register during the event.

Teams can also pick up supplies and register for a door prize. Special purple-frosted Relay muffins will be available for purchase.
