Kelly completes basic training

Air National Guard Airman Katherine G. Kelly recently graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

Kelly's training consisted of an eight-week program focusing on military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare skills.

Upon graduation, she was awarded four credits toward an associate's degree in applied science through the Community College of the Air Force.

Kelly is the daughter of Brett and Amy Kelly of Maitland and a 2008 graduate of Maryville High School.
