West Nodaway's boys basketball team erased a 16-point deficit at the start of the fourth quarter to beat South Page 47-45 Thursday night in Burlington Junction.
Rocket freshman Jaden Gillenwater sank two free throws with 20 seconds left to give West Nodaway its first and only lead of the game, and it stood up.
West Nodaway outscored South Page 22-4 in the fourth quarter, nearly equaling its point total through the first three.
Trevor Meyer and Gillenwater combined for 18 fourth quarter points. Meyer had 11 of his 18 in the fourth. Gillenwater scored seven of his nine points.
Jonathon Madere pitched in 10 points.
