Free basketball officials clinic being held Jan. 7

Maryville Parks and Recreation will conduct a free basketball officiating and scorekeeping clinic Monday at the  Maryville Community Center.

The clinic will begin at 6 p.m.

The clinic is intended for anyone who is interested in officiating or scorekeeping the Adult and Youth Basketball programs for Maryville Parks and Recreation. Games will begin the week of Jan. 14.

Pay will vary upon the position granted. All of those interested are encouraged to attend this clinic. Basic officiating mechanics, positioning and rules of the game will be offered by a certified basketball official.
