Betty Lou Piveral Baerwald

Betty Lou Baerwald passed away December 18, 2012 in Bakersfield, California.

She was born September 23, 1928, to William Ernest and Chloe Bell (Drain) Piveral in Maryville, Mo. She was their eleventh child.

Betty graduated from Maryville High School in 1946. Then went to Stockton, California, and live with her sister, Helen Piveral Carson.

She worked in Stockton until she met the love of her life, Donal Baerwald. They were married in 1952 or '53. From that union, they had two children, daughter Deborah, Bakersfield, and John Baerwald, of Stockton.

Betty and Donald always lived in Stockton. Betty was a nurse for many years, also taking care of Don for thirty years, he had M.S. and was bed-fast.

Preceding her in death, her parents, brothers, Dale, Lee, Harry, Robert and baby Leonard; sisters Mildred, Vera, Lucy, Mary and Helen.

Funeral arrangements are pending. She will be buried in Stockton, California.
