  • Mary Putman Hahn, 85, Maryville, Missouri, formerly of Stanberry, Missouri, died Tuesday, December 18, 2012,  at her home in Maryville.
    Mary was born  February 22, 1927, in Portland, Oregon to Garfield  and Marcella Edna Putman Rusk,   As a child Mary enjoyed having a special connection with all kinds of animals. She  spent her teen years in a logging community and a whaling camp.  She was an honest to goodness Rosie The Riveter during World War II and spent her latter years as a Nursing Assistant at the  Regional Diagnostic Center, Albany, Missouri.
    She married first Albert Charles Ridgeway.  He preceded her in death  along with a grandson Steven Clifford, two sisters, and one brother.
    Mary was united in marriage to James Samuel Hahn  March 4, 1956, in Las Vegas, Nevada.  He too preceded her in death.
    She is survived by ten children; Joan Given, Judy Clifford, Betty Spire and Betty Goerke all of Maryville, Connie Turman and Debbie Hahn both of Denver, Colorado, Marcella Cicciarelli, State of Arizona, Sandra (Sam) Hahn, Crossville, Tennessee; two sons Bert Ridgeway, Bryant, Texas, and James D. Hahn, Nixa, Missouri; 19 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
    Mary's body has been cremated, no service will be held and her remains will be buried at the Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas at a later date.
    Memorials may be made to SSM Hospice at St. Francis Hospital, Maryville,  in Mary's name.
