Richard Leroy Jackson

Funeral service for Richard Leroy Jackson, age 60, of rural Harrold, Texas, will be at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel in Frederick with Rev. Josh Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Davidson Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home, Frederick, Oklahoma. Mr. Jackson passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at Electra Health Care Center in Electra, Texas.

Richard Leroy "Rick" Jackson was born on August 26, 1952, in Maryville, Missouri to Francis Leroy and Darlene (Wyatt) Jackson. He attended and graduated from Northeast Nodaway R-V School in Ravenwood, Missouri. Rick was an overland trucker for more than twenty-five years and prior to retiring in 2010, was leased to Landstar Trucking.

He is survived by his wife, Shelly of the home; his mother, Darlene Jackson of Maryville, Missouri; his mother-in-law, Cindy Masters of Electra, Texas; two sons, Jason Jackson and his wife Janie of Maitland, Missouri and Mark Monson and his wife Karla of Oklaunion, Texas; two daughters, Jodi Ebrecht and her husband Jeremy of Maryville, Missouri, and Melissa Monson and special friend Raetzsch Shaw of Davidson, Oklahoma; three brothers, Randy Jackson of Maryville, Missouri, Ron Jackson and his wife Tammy of Ravenwood, Missouri, and Roger Jackson of Maryville, Missouri; four sisters: Sue Burns and her husband, Richard, of Tombstone, Arizona, Carol Morin and her husband, Ron of Papillion, Nebraska, Staci Leslie and Shelly Jackson, both of Maryville, Missouri; four grandchildren, Daelynn Ebrecht, Hunter and Gage Jackson and Kyle and Caul Monson; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Francis Leroy Jackson.
