Hound wrestlers place all six in first tourney

Maryville took just six of 12 wrestlers to the season opening Bedford-Lenox Tournament Saturday and all six placed in their their respective weight classes.

The lone first place finisher was sophomore Brendan Weybrew at 285 pounds.

Sophomore Nate Alexander finished runner-up at 126 pounds.

Finishing fourth were senior Ben Wilmes (132 pounds), sophomore Dane Hull (145 pounds) and senior Derek Stiens (152 pounds).

Kolby Jenkins took sixth at 195 pounds. That's also where Maryville finished in the team standings. The Hounds wrestle at Trenton Saturday.
