Reames completes basic training

Air Force Airman 1st Class Tanner C. Reames recently graduated with honors from basic military training school at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

Reames, a 2011 graduate of Maryville High School, has now completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills.

He also received four credits toward an associate's degree in applied science through the Community College of the Air Force.

Reames is the son of Brian Reames, Maryville, and Stacie Ortega, St. Joseph.
