Maxine Pike

Maxine Pike, 90, Maryville, died Thursday, November 15, to go home and be with the Lord.

She served many years of volunteer work, giving to the needy and fire victims. She did food service for the church for funerals. She had such a passion for gardening and flowers. She had a heart of gold and her faith in God was so strong, she will be truly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Pike, son L. D. Pike, and three grandchildren.

Survivors include daughter Janice (Gary) Maxwell, Patty Pike, Maryville, Pam (Larry) Sollars, St. Joseph, and Mary Skagway. Grandsons Eric Riley, Maryville, Loyd Pike, Anchorage, granddaughters: Carmelita Maxwell, Maryville, Deb Fattig and DeAnn Brewka, St. Joseph, and great and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. on Nov. 18 at Price Funeral Home, Maryville, Mo.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. on November 19.
