Nancy H. Hagg

Nancy Helen (Edwards) Hagg, 104, Savannah, Missouri passed from this life on Monday, November 12, 2012 at Hillview Nursing and Rehab, Platte City, Missouri.  She was born June 1, 1908 in Virginia to Hodel and Ollie (Garrett) Edwards. Helen married Ivan Hagg in 1926 and he preceded her in death on April 12, 1982.

Helen and Ivan farmed the family farm in Graham, Missouri for many years, then retired in 1978 and moved to Savannah, Missouri. She loved gardening and being outside enjoying her flowers. Helen moved to Hillview Nursing and Rehab in 2002.

She is also preceded in death by her parents, one son, Ronald Hagg, two brothers and five sisters. Survivors; three grandchildren, Dennis Hagg, St. Joseph, Missouri; Debbie Poe, Lansing, Kansas, Ronna Moore, Savannah, Missouri; four great grandchildren, Erin Farnsworth, Boonville, Missouri, Corey Farnsworth, Liberty, Missouri, Bret Poe and Scott Poe, both of Lansing, Kansas.

The family would like to thank the staff at Hillview Nursing and Rehab for the excellent care she received while living there.

Celebration of Life: 11:00 AM Friday, November 16, 2012 at Breit – Hawkins and Gladden Funeral Home, Savannah, Missouri.
