• Tigers populate All-275 teams

  • Nodaway-Holt, Worth County and North Nodaway combined to fill 14 spots on the 275 All-Conference Football Team.
    Tri-conference champion Worth County had seven players selected to the first and second teams. Dylan Kinsella made first team as both an offensive and defensive lineman. Aaron Patton, a senior at Northeast Nodaway, also gained first team recognition at multiple spots as a wide receiver and a defensive back.
    Dallas Greenland dotted the first team at running back and earned second team honors at linebacker. Lane Craven netted first team recognition as a defensive lineman. Wyatt Rush also made the first team as a defensive lineman/linebacker.
    Quarterback Bryce Ross and offensive lineman Kevin Stoll were second team selections.
    Nodaway-Holt's allotment of all-conference honorees consisted of junior Nick Patterson, senior Derek Lemon and sophomore Wade Saxton.
    Patterson was a first team selection at quarterback. Lemon joined him on the first team as an end/wide receiver.
    Saxton was picked on the second team as an all-purpose back.
    North Nodaway's lone all-conference player was punter Trent Coleman, a first team selection.
    All three schools will be in action tonight at 7 p.m.
    Worth County hosts Tarkio in the District 1 semifinals, and North Nodaway travels to Rock Port for the other semifinal game. Nodaway-Holt plays at Mound City in the District 2 semifinals.
