Richard Elden England, 77, died October 29, 2012 at his home in Maryville, Missouri.
Richard was born December 30, 1934, in Chillicothe, Missouri to Mont L. and Edna S. Croghan England.
A graduate of Chillicothe High School, Richard was in retail furniture and was co owner/operator of the Ginger Snap Company.
He married Shirley Baker on September 13, 1958, in Chillicothe, Missouri.
He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.
Richard was a member of the Laura Street Baptist Church, Maryville, and he also took part in many art festivals and Renaissance activities as the "Duke of Dink".
Preceding in death were his parents and one sister Elizabeth Ramsey, three brothers, Clifford, Stanley and Laverne England.
Survivors include his wife Shirley England of the home, daughters Joy England, Maryville and Pebble England, Liberty, Missouri; a sister-in-law Alice Lee England, Bethany, Missouri; nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be 11:00 AM Friday, November 2, 2012 at the Laura Street Baptist Church, Maryville, with Reverend Paul McKim officiating.
Memorials may be made to Laura Street Baptist Church Building Fund in Richard's name.
