Students at St. Gregory's Catholic School performed a Living Rosary Tuesday morning.
The children formed a large circle around the St. Gregory Barbarigo Church sanctuary and took turns reciting the three-part devotional comprising the Lord's Prayer, the Hail Mary and the Glory Be, or "Gloria Patri."
St. Gregory's Principal Susan Martin said the school has been holding the living rosary annually for more than 20 years.
"It is a scriptural prayer that dates back 800 years," Martin said. "It is a great chance to meditate as you say your prayer. The repetition is calming."
