Loretta Ethel Needels

Loretta Ethel Needels, 91, Ravenwood, Missouri, died Monday, September 24, 2012,  at Village Care Center, Inc,  Maryville, Missouri.

Loretta  was born Wednesday, November 3, 1920, in a railroad boxcar home, in Sanford, Florida to Samuel Martin and Adelaide  Tause Gordon.

She married W. A. "Bill"  Needels, September 5, 1964  in Kansas City and was a member of the Assembly of God Church, Belton Missouri.

A homemaker, Loretta loved her dogs.  She bred, raised and trained Pekingese dogs, having several champions.

Preceding in death were her husband, parents, two brothers  William and Vern Gordon, two sisters Margaret Young and Ruth Gordon, one step daughter Karla Schmille.

Surviving  are step-son Paul Needels(wife Giovanna), Sr., Belton, Missouri, step grandchildren Robbie Gerdes, Paul Needels Jr. and Krista, Chris Needels and Kelly, Michael Schmille, and Benjamin Schmille and three step great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Loretta's wishes were for her body to be cremated, no service will be  held and her ashes have been laid by her husband at Oak Lawn Cemetery, Ravenwood, Missouri.
