Northwest Missouri State senior kicker Todd Adolf was honored as the MIAA's Special Teams Player of the Week Monday.
Adolf connected on 3-4 field goals to help the No. 11 Bearcats break open a 37-13 road win over Nebraska-Kearney Saturday.
Adolf hit from 41 yards and 27 yards away in the second quarter and connected on a 44-yard field goal in the third quarter.
He is now 6-8 overall on the season and 4-5 from beyond 40 yards. The 6-1 senior kicker is a native of Omaha, Neb. where he competed at Millard North High School.
Joining Adolf on the weekly awards list were Offensive Player of the Week Josh Birmingham from Central Oklahoma and Defensive Player of the Week Pierre Desir from Lindenwood.
