The Lady Hound tennis team swept the season series from LeBlond with a 7-2 win Monday in St. Joseph.
Maryville took five of six singles matches and two of three in doubles.
The Hounds top three singles players—Mara Veasey, Emily Schreck and Shannon Johnson—each won their matches 8-5.
Veasey's opponent at No. 1 was Kristin Gronninger. Schreck was matched against Taylor Faucett at No. 2. Johnson faced off with Madison Looney at No. 3.
No. 4 player Abi Shipley and No. 6 Sam Auffert produced 8-4 wins. Shipley defeated Molly Fitzpatrick. Auffert took down Jane Gray.
Dalane Goodall lost her match at No. 5 to Savannah Sanai 2-8.
In doubles, Veasey/Schreck won their match at No. 1 over Gronninger/Faucett 8-5. Shipley/Auffert claimed an 8-2 win over Sanai/Gray at No. 3.
Johnson/Goodall lost in a tiebreaker to Looney/Fitzpatrick 8-8 (7-9) at No. 2.
