Betty Jo Law

Betty Jo Law, age 86, Marvyille, Missouri, died at St. Francis Hospital on Saturday, September 22, 2012.

Betty was born on September 5, 1926 in Graham, Missouri, the daughter of the late Chester Udall and Esther Ruth Owens Gordon.

Betty was a 1944 graduate of Graham High School and attended Hagey Beauty Academy. She had worked at Coulter's Beauty Shop, Maryville Daily Forum, Vansickle Business Services and Law Electric.

Betty was united in marriage to Junior Benjamin (J.B.) Law, April 3, 1946 in Maryville. He preceded her in death on December 17, 2009.

She was also preceded in death by one brother Donald Gordon, sister Ila Gray and a daughter-in-law Pam Law.

Betty was a member of the Maryville First United Methodist Church and the Levi and Lace Square Dance Club.

Her survivors include: three sons, Danny Law, Indianola, Iowa, Benny (Debra) Law, Kurby (Cathy) Law; one daughter Ila (Bruce) Hunt, all of Maryville; seven grandchildren Davinne (Eric) Glenn, DVM, Liberty, Missouri, Tori (Scott) Landers, Auburndale, Florida, Dustun (Amy) Law, Pickering, Missouri, Mandi Richey, Tia (Matt) Hallenberg, and Jerry Hunt, all of Maryville, Dr. J.B. Law (fiance' Stephanie Miller), Indianola, Iowa; one step-grandson Scott Roesle, Kansas City, Missouri; seven great grandchildren Ashleigh White, Mikalyla and Mason Landers, Preston Richey, Tucker and Cooper James Hallenberg, Cayman Grace Glenn.

Visitation will be from 6-7 PM, Tuesday, September 25, at the Price Funeral Home, Maryville, where Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM, Wednesday, September 26. Burial will be in the Prairie Home Cemetery, Graham.
