Eugene Francis Roof

Eugene Francis Roof, age 65, of Riverview, Florida formerly of Maryville, Missouri passed away Monday, September 10, 2012 at the Sun City Hospice Center in Sun City, Florida.  Eugene Francis Roof was born January 27, 1947 in Red Oak, Iowa the son of Alonzo and Doris (Mertz) Roof.   

Eugene was united in marriage Linda Rolofson on August 21, 1982 in Tyrone, Oklahoma.

Survivors include his wife:  Linda Roof of Riverview, FL; sons:  Shawn Rolofson of Kansas City, MO and Brentt Hughes of Ft. Worth,TX;  5 brothers; 1 sister;  step-mother:  Mildred Roof of Red Oak, IA; father-in-law and mother-in-law:  Warren and Dixie Rolofson of Red Oak, IA; and many other relatives and friends.  

Graveside memorial services with military honors will be held 10 AM Saturday, September 22, 2012 at the Tarkio Home Cemetery in Tarkio, Missouri.  Visitation with the family will be held 6-8 PM Friday, September 21, 2012 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel in Red Oak, Iowa.  Memorials are suggested to the family.
