Jurel V. Jackson

Jurel  V. Jackson, 89, Liberty MO. formerly of Maryville, KS died September8, 2012.

Ms. Jackson was born in Nodaway County the daughter of George and Nina DeShazer.

She married W.R. Jackson. They later divorced.

Ms. Jackson was a teacher, former member of the Maryville City Council and a life member of Easton Star. In her 60’s she joined the Peace Corps and served in Barbados.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Buel DeShazer, Hope Thrasher and Clarice Clemons.

She is survived by nieces and nephews.

Per her request Ms. Jackson has been cremated.
